Dexter Society Annual General Meeting
was held August 12 and 13, 2011

In conjunction with the 2011 AGM, several activities were enjoyed including a tour of the Lacombe Research Station and Farm.  This was an accompanied tour hosted by the Research Scientists of the Facility and included their Beef units and Garden areas. 

Then it was time for a bit of Family fun at the Lacombe Corn maze, followed by a Friday evening Meet and Greet at Applejack Ranch.

On Saturday the AGM was held at 9:00 A.M. A picnic lunch was served at noon supplied by Applejack Ranch. The afternoon included a pasture walk with Neal Wilson, and a Feeds Presentation sponsored by Greenwood Feeds of Bashaw, Alberta.

A catered supper rounded out the weekend activities with Darcy speaking on Soils and Use of Raw Milk for Fertilizer Field Trials.
